Make Room for Growth

Starting something new can be exciting, but it can also be uncomfortable. As I've learned throughout my career—and especially while building Véla Esthetics & Vitality—growth often happens outside of our comfort zone.

It's easy to believe that confidence comes first and action follows. In reality, I've found the opposite to be true. Confidence is built through action. It grows every time we take a step forward despite uncertainty, every time we try something new, and every time we're willing to learn along the way.

When we focus too much on the end goal, it can feel overwhelming. The truth is that meaningful progress rarely happens overnight. It comes from showing up consistently, making small improvements, and trusting the process even when the results aren't immediate.

I've learned that there is rarely a "perfect" time to start. Whether it's pursuing a new career opportunity, prioritizing your health, investing in yourself, or chasing a dream you've been putting off, sometimes the most important step is simply deciding to begin.

Growth isn't always linear. There will be challenges, setbacks, and moments of self-doubt. But those moments don't mean you're failing—they're often signs that you're stretching beyond what feels familiar and creating space for something bigger.

As we move through this season, I encourage you to make room for growth in whatever area of your life needs it most. Be willing to take the first step, even if it's a small one. You might be surprised by what becomes possible when you stop waiting for certainty and start trusting yourself.
